New features in Hattrick
Hattrick has been updated recently and a few small new interface features have been added. Small enough to go unnoticed, but still worthy of being mentioned.
It seems as if the devs are sneaking in some small tweaks here and there and that they leave it to the community to discover them. Sneaky bandits. How about a roadmap document so that we can see what you’re working on and what new features to expect? Anyways: Here are a couple of new things I have noticed over the past month:
- You can now sort players according to skills in the players page, and not just according to name, id, age or TSI as it used to be. Now… why didn’t they include form or experience too while they were at it? I would also really like to be able to sort by two criterias. For instance order by defending first and then form, so if I was checking out my players I could see which one of my supernatural defenders were best to use for the upcoming game.
- National team coaches now get their title on their team’s page. In the team overview page of the national team coaches’ teams, you can now see that they get credit for being a national team manager. If you have a look at team with ID 20322, you will see that it says “National Coach: Norge” on that page. A small but noteworthy change if you ask me. It would have been even better with a small flag there too. Any changes that draw more to national teams are good in my opinion.
