Hattrick Hub

We have followed up on our policy of publishing one post pr day in the last couple of months, so August has so far brought 16 new ideas to the Hub. Well actually, it has brought alot more, but we haven’t published all of them. Here is a brief summary of this months posts, as well as some answers to frequently asked questions.

First of all we must say that we are excited to see the new things happening in Season 30, and we are proud to say that alot of these changes have already been suggested in various forms here on the Hattrick Hub.

Here are the ideas we have published so far in August: (oldest on top)

• Why don’t players develop low skills faster? (by sidney)
  A bad player should increase faster in skill than a skilled player
• Club page stats (by LEXI)
  Give us more stats about our club
• Save transfers search profile (by badsect0r)
  Make it easier to repeat a search at a later time by saving the search parameters
• Buyout price in transfer auctions (by Kotoga)
  Set a buyout price as well as a starting price in auctions
• Alternate ways to make money (by tha-king)
  Taking the team on tour instead of investing in training
• Daily training (by Kniff)
  More excitement, better flexibility.
• Alternate web path/domain name (by FLAVIOCTC)
  “Help, my boss banned hattrick.org”
• Transfer restrictions (by esegel)
  Limit number of times a player can change club during a season
• Special event: “Avoids offside trap” (by LazlowLod)
  Add a new special event to the match engine, and making some specialties more useful too.
• Player mindset and interaction with club/coach (by galaticos23)
  Give players more of a personality and let this be affected by the club and the manager.
• Better draw break system in leagues (by Gelon)
  Let head-to-head matches count when setting up the leaguetable
• Make the youth squad more dynamic (by Kniff)
  Ability to reduce investment in youth squad without reducing it’s quality, but how often you can pull a player.
• No random stamina training (by acsTom)
  With steady stamina loss we need steady stamina gain.
• Transfer windows (by maycj)
  Reduce skill- and daytrading and increase player prices by limiting transfers to certain times pr season.
• 16 year old trainees (by NTF-Gwaihir)
  Add some rare 16-year olds to the youth pull system.
• Trading players (by Zorro)
  Trade player for player instead of player for money.

Why hasn’t my idea been published yet?
We do give e-mail notifications to ALL people who contribute with ideas, but we only publish max one idea pr day. Therefore it might take a while for your idea to get published, depending on how many are before you in line. If you haven’t heard anything from us yet, your idea is probably in queue to be published. Please double check that your e-mail address is correct when you register, so that we send you our feedback to the correct address.

Giving credit
If you submit an idea you read about on the forums (which is perfectly legal), please give credit to the person who originally posted the idea. Thanks to those of you who have done that so far too. What we’re really asking: Don’t take credit for other people’s ideas.

Previously published ideas
Alot of people still suggest alot of things that have been suggested earlier, and since time goes by and more ideas are collected every day, the number of previously suggested ideas just increase. This means more moderation for us and less posts published compared to number of posts submitted. We would therefore appreciate if you used the search function to the right and searched the Hub before you submitted what you thought was a new idea.

If you think that some ideas are very similar or that different ideas seem to try to solve a common problem, please submit a link in the comments section of the respective ideas so that they get crosslinked and references eachother.

We DO appreaciate all contributions, so if you are in dubt, please submit your idea anyways ;)
