Friendlies “dating service”
For all the lazy players that do not participate in a private cup… add a button that says “get me a challenge home” and “get me a challenge away”. This would add this team into a database of teams that are looking for a challenge. There are times when I don’t give a damn whom will I play, as long as they come to my arena.
This function could be:
a) limited to supporters only
b) give supporters possibility to be more specific with their requests (i.e. I want to play home / I want to play away / I want to play in this country / I want to play an older team (=chances for a bigger fanclub and therefore more income) / I want to play with cup rules only or normal only).
This would be ideal solution for everyone who i.e. arrives from vacation wednesday morning :), or just does not want to spend a lot of time looking for a friendly.
Cons: Possibly a lot of work for HT-men
Pros: I think that the overall load of the system would be much lower than today, when I solve the above problem by randomly issuing 15 challenges at a time and hoping that one of them will accept. (Remember that this operation generates a LOT of traffic - the challenge itself, challenge notification message, possibly up to 14 challenge decline messages.
