Merge assistants
With new features being added to Hattrick every seasons and the tons of ideas that are available here at Hattrick Hub, I think it’s a possible danger that the game might become too complex. We should also pay attention to the things that are part of it now and can be removed.
My favorite game designer Sid Meier said that all features have a cost, even if people don’t use it. They still have to think about using it.
So my proposal: remove the distinction between goalkeeping coaches and assistant coaches. People most of the time have at max 1 of the “other” type, depending on what they are training. Whether it has any effect is often questioned. The new assistant coach would help with whatever you are training (keeping or field skills) and have a slight positive effect on form. This will make the game a tiny bit less confusing for newbies, and changing training from keeper to field or viceversa will be easier.
