Decrease xenotax over time
In Hattrick, every player that plays abroad gets paid 20% more than a local player. I don’t know why that is, but now that managers are more and more looking at ways to decrease their salary costs, it will ultimately lead to very uniform teams, employing only national players. That’s a loss for the Hattrick world, I think, so I propose to do something about the xenotax. Instead of just abolishing it, let’s decrease it over time, say 5% each season.
The decrease will not be transferable to other teams, it’s only for the owning club, so if the foreign player is transferred to another team in the same nation, he will again get 20% more salary. This will help the people with long term visions, and also make it more interesting to train players to keep them for your own team, because by the time the get expensive, you will no longer pay more than for a domestic player.
