From my point of view, the main problem of Hattrick, nowadays, is the high wages of players. If a really good manager could develop his team faster than usual, it eventually would be stopped by the crazy wage’s increasing system. It is unfair and absurd how it grows. And a team who wants to stay on the top leagues, must do weektrading/daytrading to survive. It is almost impossible to be good in this game without doing it. Read on…

In Hattrick, every player that plays abroad gets paid 20% more than a local player. I don’t know why that is, but now that managers are more and more looking at ways to decrease their salary costs, it will ultimately lead to very uniform teams, employing only national players. That’s a loss for the Hattrick world, I think, so I propose to do something about the xenotax. Instead of just abolishing it, let’s decrease it over time, say 5% each season. Read on…

The economy page has little to no detail to offer. All the information on that page can be found in the list of latest team happenings, and the info is only 1-2 weeks old. No historical data at all… Is it just me who is getting gray hairs over this? A few simple changes would enhance this page alot, giving alot more information to the manager. While this may first appear to be a yet another variable in your team’s income and success, the community quickly figured out the magic seating ratio to maximize income. I suggest a new option for selling players, which basically removes the instant 3 day deadline. Instead the player is put on sale indefinitely, and the 3 day countdown is only started once an opening bid has been made.

With talk of the possibility of increased sponsor money, namely by a large computer manufacturing company, I thought it would be interesting if clubs could be sponsored by individual companies. These could be fictional or real life companies, but as your team improves your sponsor would be better. A starter team could perhaps be sponsored by Joe’s Hot Dog Shack, and then as they move up the ranks they could be sponsored by larger companies, finally earning that sweet Nike deal. Read on…
